The rest of the route takes in the Laigue forest, the Compi\u00e8gne forest again, then Choisy-au-Bac and the banks of the Aisne and Oise rivers. \n\nContinue south-west to Pont-Sainte-Maxence station (40 minutes from Paris-Nord) on the perfect discontinuous EuroV\u00e9lo 3 cycle path on the left bank of the Oise, and through the wetlands of Verberie and Pontpoint. Just before the final stop, don't miss the magnificent Moncel Abbey. \n\nFor this route, you'll need a mountain bike or a gravel bike.
