Description

Since 2018, Agrion de l'Oise has organised the Fête des Mares in Verneuil-en-Halatte. This year, at the initiative of Vern'œil and Les Veilleurs de la Forêt d'Halatte, the 7ᵉ edition becomes the 1ʳᵉ Fête des Mares et des Forêts.

On Sunday 7 June, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., a host of associations and institutions will be gathering at the Manoir Salomon de Brosse for a day dedicated to discovering nature. On the programme: stands, events, demonstrations, exhibitions, themed walks and activities for all on the flora and fauna of our region's ponds and forests.

An information-debate on PFASs, the so-called «eternal pollutants», and their effects on health will also be organised by Vern'œil.

Free and open to all (excluding food and drink), the festival will continue the following week with a conference on the flora of ponds, a walk around the ponds of the Halatte forest and new outings on the Biodiversity Trail.
