Would you like to set up or take over a home-stay tourist accommodation business?
To open a gîte or chambre d'hôtes, you need to complete a number of administrative formalities:
- The very first step before opening your tourist accommodation is to its declaration at the town hall. A cerfa form (13566/14004) must be completed and submitted to the town hall in the commune where the accommodation is located. A receipt will be returned to the owners and must be sent to the Tourist Office. This declaration is compulsory and free of charge.
- From your first rental, you must make yourself known to the tourist office. They will inform you of regulatory provisions in force on the territory concerning collecting tourist tax.
The Pays d'Oise et d'Halatte Tourist Office promotes all the accommodation in its area, free of charge without membership, as long as it complies with current legislation. This promotion includes publication in the tourist guide, insertion on its website, permanent support and assistance with your enquiries.
We recommend that you classify your accommodation (from 1 to 5 stars), which will give it a higher rating. official guarantee of service quality and comfort to customers. This classification also entitles you to a tax allowance of 71% on taxable rental income, compared with 50% for a non-classified furnished property. In addition to classification, you can also apply for the label such as Gîtes de France or Clévacances for your furnished tourist accommodation.
