Exceptionally accessible during the European Heritage Days, discover the natural site of Les Pointes in the company of those involved in its preservation. "Les Pointes" is part of the Marais de Sacy departmental estate. They form the western part of the estate and cover an area of over 60 hectares of marshland organised around the Frette and Petite Frette streams. Former peat mining operations have significantly altered the site, which now boasts a mosaic of original vegetation, including elements of alkaline peat bogs with Cladion marisque and common reed, as well as calcicolous grasslands and heaths, such as roadsides with common polygale and willow-leafed willowherb. Thanks to the European LIFE programme, major restoration work has restored the wide marsh landscapes of yesteryear. We invite you to come and discover them during the 2025 European Heritage Days: register now! Good shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended! Discovery outing on the restoration of the peat bog by the Conservatoire d'espaces naturels des Hauts-de-France Registration and information from the Pays d'Oise et d'Halatte Tourist Office.
