From the foliage of the Royal Massif of Hez-Froidmont, next to the charms of the old town of Clermont perched on its motte, you will reach the Oise valley via a completely different environment, that of the vast wetland of the Sacy marsh (RAMSAR site). You'll be retracing the history of the Oise from Gallo-Roman times to the present day. After seeing the remains of the medieval keep at Clermont, you can discover the Art-Deco town hall at Pont-Saint-Maxence and visit Moncel Abbey.
