The biodiversity trail

This Biodiversity Trail highlights the biodiversity of the woods and the Château of Verneuil-en-Halatte. Designed by the "Agrion de l'Oise" association, the trail is marked out in blue and features around twenty panels on history, insects, flora and fauna. This pleasant trail leads to the Mare aux Daims, where Henri IV may once have bathed, then into the forest, before climbing up to the plateau to the remains of the Château, which he gave to his mistress Henriette d'Entragues. A beautiful view awaits you!
